2019 media appearances
The BPA participated in 21 radio broadcasts discussing issues such as residential parking schemes, blue badge and electric vehicle parking, airport meet & greet services, POPLA extension to Scotland & Northern Ireland and payment methods.
2018 media appearances
The BPA participated in 16 radio broadcasts discussing the Parking (Code of Practice) Bill, pavement parking, Park Mark (Safer Parking Scheme), how to appeal a parking ticket and resident parking schemes.
There were over 9,000 articles and broadcasts featuring a parking issue in 2018.
2017 media appearances
The BPA participated in 22 radio broadcasts discussing the new £1 coin, airport meet & greet parking, the Private (Code of Practice) Bill, the size of parking bays, Park Mark/safer parking, resident and retail parking.
Just under 12,000 articles and broadcasts mentioned, discussed or debated a parking experience or issue in 2017.
2016 media appearances
The BPA took part in 16 radio and TV discussions on ANPR, free parking, parking bays, payment methods, appeals processes and meet and greet airport parking.
More than 7,500 articles a year are dedicated to parking issues in the UK.
